HARRISBURG hIGH sCHOOL

Project Location: Harrisburg, MO

  • Musselman and Hall completed this unique and details decorative concrete project in the summer of 2018. The project had somewhat loose guidelines which allowed our specialized team to fill in the gaps for the design. The original design was for a purple integrally colored band with stamped concrete letters to read "Harrisburg Bulldogs" surrounding an inner circle of brick stamped concrete. Musselman and Hall was contacted after 2 contractors had given their price without any acceptable proof of work experience for this type of a project. After a phone conversation with the project manager, Sam Kroesen, Decorative Concrete Division Manager, set a meeting with the architect to discuss this project. With all of his immense work experience in the field, he sold them on eliminating the stamped concrete and instead doing a custom alloy color hardener with decorative concrete engraving for text and their mascot at the center. With plenty of previous projects to show them, they were excited about the idea. The client felt very confident in our work experience and loved the design idea. This thing really sparkles in the sun, even though pictures just don't seem to do it justice.
