Lenexa Civic Center

The Lenexa Civic Center, located on W. 87th St. in Lenexa, Kansas was an exciting and colorful decorative concrete project to complete. Veteran concrete superintendent Sam Kroesen, now Decorative Concrete Division Manager supervised the project and helped produce an exceptional project with his talented craftsman capabilities. The center included a colorful stained concrete plaza with alternating blocks of color between grays, tans, and bright red, and a history node that included concrete laser-engraved etching. The public is now able to enjoy the details of this project while listening to varying local artists perform on the stage adjacent to the plaza.
